If you want an idea of what toys to expect during a year, take a look at the cinema schedule. Big movies are a great way to see what toys will come.
While movie fans speculate on what Avengers: Endgame will be like, toy fans can’t wait to see what new toys the movie will offer. And that’s not the only big name coming in 2019.
Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26, 2019. On March 8 though we will see Captain Marvel. It will be a prelude to Endgame and will introduce us to Captain Marvel played by Brie Larson. You can be sure there will be lots of toys around this one.
DC Comics will also have a movie or two. One of them will be the long awaited Joker standalone movie. Pulling off the Joker is a tough challenge for actors, so the reaction to the movie will depend on what and how many toys we can expect around it.
X-Men Dark Phones will also come out. This means lots of action figures.
And of course, there’s finally Toy Story 4. It will be an avalanche of toys and stuffed animals for this one. Also for the Lion King CGI remake. Oh, and there’s Frozen 2 coming as well.
Still not enough? Well, there’s also The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part coming as well. This means lots of new LEGOs , too.
Finally, in December 2019, we will see Star Wars: Episode IX. It should be Disney’s final Star Wars unless they renew the license. But it also means lots of toys.
In fact, there are so many big movies which will be also big toy makers, we feel it may be overwhelming. All of this might not be up to the liking of parents and fans who will feel there’s too much. So, they will likely cut spending to just their most-most favorite and desired toys. Still, it’s going to be quite the year.
