LEGO Dimensions is an upcoming video game showing us an incredible mix of fantasy worlds merging with the real building of LEGO sets. Warner Bros in one of the publishers of the game and it just debuted the first LEGO Dimensions trailer.
It reveals us some interesting details about the storyline. It will be quite big as it merges the characters and worlds from a total of 14 different brands. You will see lots of characters from Star Wars, The LEGO Movie, The Lord of The Rings, DC Comics, Disney and many more.
All of this is made in the so-called LEGO Multiverse. At its’ center there is an ancient planet. There the evil mastermind Lord Vortech lives. He is dedicated to find the Foundational Elements that the planet is built upon. The legend says that whoever finds the Elements will control the entire Multiverse. Lord Vortech spends his time summoning characters from the different LEGO worlds to help him find the Foundational Elements.
Not everyone agrees with his “invitation”, though. There is a rebellion. The LEGO heroes are joining forces in order to stop Lord Vortech. But they will need your help, too.
The game will feature lots of connections between the real life LEGO sets and the virtual worlds. You will be able to buy pack of LEGO sets and/or figures. Each pack will give you codes for accessing additional levels, powers, accessories and many more. Plus you get to build your own LEGO Dimensions worlds in your own room.
You can find out more additional info about the game right here. The game is set to launch on September 29th. It will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. So far there is no word for a PC edition sadly. We are hoping there will be one.
