A month before Toy Story 4 finally debuts in the cinemas, Disney and Pixar released the ‘final’ trailer for the movie. And there might be a problem.
According to some reactions, the trailer shows too much from the movie and the story. And that’s has been a problem for the movie industry for a while.
One of the best examples of this was Terminator: Genisys which spoiled the big plot twist right in the trailers. This left fans terribly disappointed.
Many other movies have done similar mistakes. And it seems it’s pretty difficult these days to make a trailer which both makes people interested in the movie, but also doesn’t show much from it.
So, does this latest Toy Story 4 trailer show too much from the movie? Well it revealed three new characters along with the heavily promoted Duke Caboom voiced by Keanu Reeves.
But most of what we see in the trailer has already been shown in pictures, teases and other promotional stuff. Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley says on Twitter that fans shouldn’t worry. I can say you haven’t seen anything yet”, he wrote, being adamant that the trailer(s) won’t spoil the movie.
The end result? Well, the movie debuts on June 21, 2019 in the US. It has been a very long wait with several pushbacks of the movie, but it’s almost over. Toy Story 4 is almost here!
