Toy Story 4 is coming closer and closer. The expectations are high and now the cast of the movie is making them higher. Tom Hanks says there’s a historic ending planned for the movie.
Tom Hanks is the voice behind Woody. He says he’s already recorded the ending of the movie.
Hanks was a guest on BBC’s The Chris Evans Show and there he had a little tease for Toy Story 4. “The way you record Toy Story, you’re in a room with the team that has created it. When I went in for my last day of recording, I wanted to have my back to them, because usually you’re facing him so you can look right up and you can talk about it. But I didn’t want to see them and I wanted to pretend they couldn’t see me. When I realized what they were going for, I realized, ‘Oh, this is a moment in history.’”
So, what does that mean? Well, it means that fans will now watch the movie with even greater expectations. Will the story have a major twist in it? These days it seems that unexpected twists are preferred in big movies. Take the Avengers: Infinity War for example.
Would Toy Story 4 set up Toy Story 5? We don’t know. Originally the idea seemed like Toy Story 4 will put a bow on the franchise. But if it’s successful enough, anything could and will be possible.
