A lot of toys and stuffed animals are lost every day. But some are more fortunate and they are found by good people that want to help them out. And some are even more fortunate to get the attention of the media.
This is the case with this cute looking plush giraffe from Polk County, Fla. Sierra McClellan is looking for help to find the family of the lost giraffe.
She was headed home around 5 pm on Friday and was driving behind a van in Lakeland. She saw a child holding the giraffe out of the window.
The child dropped the giraffe and the plushie fell into the middle of the road. Since traffic was heavy, no one could stop to get it. The next morning Sierra drove back on her way to work and found the giraffe on the side of the road. She picked him up near the intersection of Brennan Road and South Florida Avenue, WFLA News 5 reports.
McClellan took some pics of the plushie and shared them on Facebook.
Update: Judging by the comments, the owners might have already been found. It’s a matter now of getting in touch with them, so that Mr. Giraffe can make his way back to his family.
