The top 10 toys for this Chirstmas
My Friend Freddy Bear is amongst the top toys expected to be a hit for this Christmas.

You may think it is a bit early, but retailers are already preparing for the big Christmas gift shopping. Lets see their predictions for the top 10 toys.

“This year, the list is more star studded than ever, driven by highly anticipated movie releases and kid’s favourite TV shows. “Toys like the Tracy Island, Barbie and LEGO are all stellar examples of how this year’s list crosses the generations, bringing the whole family together on Christmas Day.,” says Linzi Walker, chief toy buyer at Argos to ToyNews.

This year’s list features a number of toys that will be exclusive to Argos this Christmas, including the Chad Valley Three Storey Summer Winter Dolls House, the VTech Toot Drivers Super RC Raceway and the Barbie Style Your Way House.

The Full list is as follows:

– My Friend Freddy Bear (£39.99)
– VTech Toot Drivers Super RC Raceway (£99.99)
– Thunderbirds Interactive Tracy Island (£79.99)
– LEGO City Deep Sea Exploration Vessel (£79.99)
– Nerf Modulus (£59.99)

– Barbie Style Your Way House (£99.99)
– Frozen Sing-A-Long Elsa (£39.99)
– Little Live Pets Birds Clever Keet (£59.99)

– Real FX Racing (£99.99)

But, that is not the only retailer that has a top 10 list. Hamleys expects that tech will be on the top of the list. Toys that use some sort of technology will be at the front of desires.

Hamleys expects some of the same toys as Argos to be amongs the most wanted. There are some differences though.

For example Hamleys is placing the i-Que Intelligent Robot as one of its top choices along with LeapPad Platinum. Amongst the other choices are Peppa Pig, and Rose Peppa from Once Upon a Time.

Next on the list is Skate and Sing Elsa from Disney’s Let It Go. Kids will also be able to make 3D accessories with Wackytivities Toy’s Kinetic Sand and Mookie’s 3D Maker.

“This year, we have seen technology find a real place within the toy market and actually add to a toy’s play value,” Hamley’s buyer, Laura Olver told ToyNews. “Tech is no longer there just for the sake of it, and we are really excited with our line up this year.”

“Tracey Island is going to be somewhat of a hero line for us this year, we think. And at £80, it’s a good price for a lot of toy,” said Olver.

Which toys are grabbing your attention the most? We already have a few favorites, but are expecting that when we do go to the shops, we will come across much more cool toys that will have to join our Christmas gift list.
