The Power Rangers will have a new official board game. Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid got full funding through fans on Kickstarter.
The game is officially licensed and developed by Renegade Game Studios, ToyNews reports. It was a smashing hit on Kickstarter.
The game had a goal of 78 586 British pounds to raise for funding. It achieved the goal in less than 8 hours of the start of the funding campaign. Now the funding is well over 125 000 pounds.
Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid will allow players to play co-operatively. Two to five people can play at the same time with the goal to save Angel Grove. The players will gith Rita Repulsa’s evil army of monsters.
“The game includes carefully sculpted large scale figures, the five Power Rangers: Red Ranger, Blue Ranger, Pink Ranger, Black Ranger and Yellow Ranger and 50 combat cards. Monsters include Madame Woe, Pudgy Pig, Bones, Knasty Knight, Rita Repulsa and an army of foot soldiers”, ToyNews adds.
Thanks to the successful funding, the board game will make its way to the market. Of course, you can join the funding campaign and this way you will secure your copy as early as possible. And it could be cheaper, too.
