The Isle of Wight will hold a big teddy bear picnic this weekend

The Isle of Wight will hold a big teddy bear picnic this weekendWe have some special news for our UK fans. The Isle of Wight will be the home of a big teddy bear picnic this weekend. And it’s going to be quite fun.

The Isle of Wight Scouts are organizing the Teddy Bear Picnic on Saturday, August 25th. It will start at 2PM local time.

The event will be a bit shorter than usual and will continue for about 3 or so hours. At least the official part will be that long.

The event is shorter as the organizers want to give fans plenty of time to travel and get to and from the Isle of Wight. Of course, there will be some very special events, the IslandEcho reported.

The Scouts will offer various scouting activities, tips, entertainment and prizes. Families will also get the chance to meet Toby Toymaster, Captain Ted Funnel, Pudsey Bear and other favorite celebs and characters.

The event will be at the Northwood House in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. There’s a 2 British Punds admission fee per person. The proceeds are raised for the IW Scouts, Children in Need and Northwood House. People can also choose to donate more if they so wish.

It’s shaping up to be quite the event. So, if you’re close to the Isle of Wight, grab your favorite teddy bear or other stuffed animal and go have fun!
