The first trailer for the Christopher Robin movie is here and Pooh is already marvelousThe first trailer for the Christopher Robin movie is finally here. It gives us our first glimpses of the live-action movie mixing with a CGI Winnie-the-Pooh. The good news? Pooh is adorable.

Actually, he’s marvelous. Pooh sounds a little older and wiser. He comes back to a grown-up Christopher Robin who has a serious work-related problem.

Pooh comes back to help Christopher Robin remember the loving boy he was and he still is deep inside. He also wants to help him during the difficult time and ventures into our world for the first time.

The first trailer reveals only the setup for the story. We don’t see anything else from the movie. This is a good thing, because, if you’re like us, you like to keep movies mostly a surprise.

The trailer does a good job to show us the two main characters, the way they look, act and interact with each other. It’s enough to get us hooked on the movie. We already can’t wait until August to see the full flick.

The film stars Ewan McGregor as Christopher Robin; Hayley Atwell as his wife Evelyn; Bronte Carmichael as his daughter Madeline; and Mark Gatiss as Keith Winslow, Robin’s boss. The film also features the voices of: Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh; Chris O’Dowd as Tigger; Brad Garrett as Eeyore; Toby Jones as Owl; Nick Mohammed as Piglet; Peter Capaldi as Rabbit; and Sophie Okonedo as Kanga.

We didn’t get to see any of the rest of the plushies and Pooh’s friends in the first trailer. They will probably be revealed in the next trailers. Or, hopefully, Disney can manage to hold some of them a secret and reveal them in the actual movie.

“Christopher Robin” definitely has all the tools to be one great movie. We are going to follow this one closely.
