The Elf for Christmas toy line expands with new plush toys. Asobi announced it’s adding two new elf models of a boy and a girl. A new book is also coming.
The Elf for Christmas toy line features stuffed toys which you have to make yourself. They are the so-called kits.
The new models come in an updates packaging. They have a “magical reward set”, too.
It features elf-sized letters from the North Pole, report cards, a reward chart and stickers. You will also get Nice List certificates and more. Basically everything you need to make the perfect companion to your Christmas gifts.
“The Elf for Christmas kit has captured the imagination of retailers, parents and children as a tremendously creative way to promote kindness and good behaviour in the run-up to Christmas,” said David Bottomley, commercial director at Asobi to ToyNews.
A 32-page Elf’s First Christmas book written by creator Sarah Greenwell and illustrated by Gillian Gamble, will also be available for fans of the plush toys.
“We’re seeing very positive sales across the board. I wouldn’t be surprised if the toys sell out. Feedback at retail is very strong. Many customers are hoping the product will become a family tradition and add even more magic to Christmas every year.”
