The Teddy Bear Toss season is gaining steam. Some teams already had their special charity games. Among them is also the Bakersfield Condors.
Their fans are usually one of the more active ones and often bring big numbers of stuffed animals. They didn’t disappoint this year, too.
Fans threw a grand total of 8415 stuffed animals onto the ice after the Condors scored their first goal of the game. That’s the second highest total in the team’s history.
The Condors also announced this brings their overall total to almost 130 000 donated teddy bears and stuffed animals.

It’s definitely a great way to help the community and kids in need.
Sadly, the team lost the game to the Tucson Roadrunners 6 to 1. Still, Teddy Bear Toss games are always special and it’s the overall energy that counts.
