Tesco, Argos and Amazon are all recalling the Animagic My First Puppy playsets, The Sun reports. The reason – choking hazard.
The playsets feature a small stuffed animal along with several accessories. It turns out that some of them have small plastic parts which can detach and are a choking hazard.
Vivid, the company which makes the My First Puppy playsets, says there are no reported incidents. The recall is a precaution and the toy is no longer on sale.
People who have bought the My First Puppy playsets are asked to return them to Vivid for a full refund. The best way to do so is to contact the store from which you purchased the toy. The issues affect toys with batch codes: 181008P3, 181102P3, and 181116P3.
“We have conducted an independent risk assessment, which concludes there is a low risk, however as a precaution we have taken the step to withdraw the products from sale and recall them from consumers”, a spokesman for Vivid told The Sun.
