It tends to happen… if one store has discounts, others also follow suit. It’s not only Argos in the UK with a massive discount for many toys this week.
Tesco also has one, the Manchester Evening News reports. And while the Argos promotion is a few days, Tesco plans to have the discount from April 3 all the way to April 25.
So, if you’re in the UK, you will have quite the selection. Tesco plans to offer half price discounts on many toys.
Among them are big names like Star Wars, Hot Wheels, Paw Patrol, Disney and others. The discounts will be offered in Tesco Extras and superstores. Some items will also be on the online shop, but not all.
“We know with the Easter holidays coming up some parents will be looking for keen prices for toys to keep their youngsters amused during the school break. We’ve looked back over the last year and at Christmas to select some of the most popular toys from then and heavy discounted them to give some great offers”, Tesco toy category manager John Hext says.
Tesco also gives a few examples of the deals:
X Shot Combo – Hawk Eye & Mk 3 which is reduced from £20 to £10
Paw Patrol 2 Pack Mission Vehicles – down from £28 to £14
Hot Wheels Blastin Rig – on sale for £12.50 from £25
Barbie Convertible Car and Doll – Was £30 and now £15
Giant Pugsley in Bunny onesie – reduced from £30 to £15
So, you’re bound to find something you like at a great price.
