Toy Story 4 is currently under development. According to a new report, it will center around Woody and Bo Peep. More possible spoiler details are following.
MNR Daily reports that in the upcoming movie, Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) will be looking for the love of his life – Bo Pee (voiced by Annie Potts). Toy Story 4 is set for release on June 15, 2018.
The increased focus on Bo Peep is something new compared to the last movie. There Bo Peep had only a silent cameo. Now Woody will be searching for her. But don’t worry, this doesn’t mean that Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang won’t be featured. They will actually play an important role in helping Woody find Bo Peep.
According to Collider, the absence of Bo Peep from Toy Story 3 will be the premise for the new story and the new movie will set to solve the mystery. One possible spoiler is that Bo Peep was sold at a yard sale. Upon finding this out, Woody and the gang will set to find her and return her home.
The director of the movie is John Lasseter. It is said that he only wanted to do another movie if he had a great and meaningful plot. It is also said he was pretty happy with the plot for Toy Story 4. Neither he, nor the Pixar movie studio is sharing any details about it, though.
They have only said Bo Peep and Woody will refuel their romance and have confirmed some of the actors that will voice the characters. Among them we see Mr. Potato Heads (Don Rickles) and his wife (Estelle Harris), Jessie (Joan Cusack), Barbie (Jodi Benson) and Dolly (Bonnie Hunt). Patricia Arquette will also take part, but her role is still kept a secret. Along with the new movie, you can expect a huge wave of toys. They, though will arrive in 2018 at the earliest, along with the movie, so sit tight.
