Rainbow Designs prepares new Paddington Bear stuffed animalsPaddington Bear continues to be very popular and this means only one thing. Rainbow Designs is preparing a completely new Paddington teddy bear!

The new Paddington Bear plush toys will have a talking module, ToyNews reports. The toys are inspired by the movie Paddington which premiered in 2014 and still is very popular.

The Talk to Me Paddington bear will feature five different phrases which the toy can say. There will also be an option to record a phrase and have the bear repeat it back in its own voice.

The second toy is called My Name is Paddington and will also feature a talking module. The teddy bear design will be slightly different.

“Britain’s best loved bear has become even more popular since the Paddington movie was released and we’re delighted to meet the demand for high quality Paddington toys with our new talking plush. Children love toys with elements of interactivity and these Paddington products which have talking features offer a winning combination”, says the company.

The two new Paddington Bear stuffed animals should be available from the second half of this year. They will join the original Talking Paddington line Rainbow Designs debuted last year. The company has said that Paddington has helped make last year “fantastic” in terms of sales and revenue. Everything related to the cute bear has been selling great.

“Following on from the hit movie, Paddington, the success of our movie based Paddington pre- school collection has been fantastic and most certainly is a highlight of this year”, Anthony Temple, MD at Rainbow Designs says.

“2015 has been an exciting year at Rainbow for both our baby and toy collections. Our classic properties including Paddington Bear, Peter Rabbit, Guess How Much I Love You and The Very Hungry Caterpillar have performed exceptionally well, and it has been fantastic to see how well our new Peppa Pig for Baby has been received too,” added Temple.
