People collected over 12 000 stuffed animals for charity during the 2019 San Diego County FairThe 2019 San Diego County Fair gathered more than 1.5 million people this year. They visited tons and tons of events, including a stuffed animal drive.

The 2019 San Diego County Fair continued for 27 days. The annual event first began in 1880 and gathers the San Diego community and local businesses to showcase their products and services.

There are also lots of other activities like games, spectacles and charity events. One of them is the Care N’ Share Toy Drive, the Del Mar Times reports.

Each year visitors can donate stuffed animals for children in need. This year the toy drive collected more than 12 000 stuffed animals. They will all go to local kids in need throughout the year.

As there were so many visitors, the Lost and Found team of the event also gathered a lot of lost items, including many stuffed animals.
