The Woman’s Club of Greater New Milford announced the date of their 21st Annual Teddy Bear Festival. it will be on June 3rd 2017 with special guests.
The 21st Annual Teddy Bear Festival will begin at 10 AM and will continue up to 3 PM. Smokey The Bear will be the special guest.
This year he will be escorted by firefighters from Water Witch Hose Company No.2. Smokey will headline the traditional Teddy Bear Parade which will begin at 12 PM. Everyone who are attending the Festival can and are encouraged to take part in the Parade, too.
The Teddy Bear Festival has several other minievents, too. One of them is the annual Teddy Bear Hospital. People can bring their teddy bears and other stuffed animals for examinations. Volunteer “surgeons” and “nurses” from the Girl Scouts will perform needed repairs on the plushies. The procedures are free, but donations are welcome.
The next tent will host the Adoption Center. There people can find teddy bears and stuffed animals which need a new home. Also at the premises, people will be able to go to the Bare Bear Boutique where you can buy various outfits for your teddy bears and other stuffed animals.
And that’s only a small part of the massive event. People will be able to also enjoy many other events, entertainment and etc. There will be story time, Games area, a bounce house and more. Local vendors and non-profits will also join.
in short, the 21st Annual Teddy Bear Festival will be a big one. It will be on the town green in New Milford. And since there are a lot of events to check out, you better get there early to have enough time. And have fun!
