Fortnite Battle Royale became one of the most popular games ever. As such it now enjoys a lot of attention from toy makers with Moose Toys being the latest.
Moose Toys will launch a set of mini collectables and building sets. All of them are based on Fortnite and come as a result of a partnership with Epic Games, the maker of Fortnite, ToyNews reports.
The Fortnite Battle Royale Collection will feature quite a few of the characters and their most popular skins from the game. It will also have miniature scale fort building sets from the game.
“We love the idea of giving fans the chance to build a huge collection of figures and forts at an awesome mini scale”, Mark Rein, Epic Games co-founder says.
The first wave collection will debut this December, in time for Christmas. In 2019 the portfolio will expand with additional lines, too.
“Fortnite has the coolest characters in gaming, and we can’t wait to apply our expertise in mini-collectables to such a deep roster. Our line will feature high-quality designs, detailed accessories, buildable forts and a truly epic range of figures to collect”, Johnny O’Neal, vice president of marketing at Moose Toys says.
Will Fortnite Battle Royale remain popular for so long? It seems so. There are already tournaments being set up in place. GTA V has been around for more than 5 years now and it’s still one of the most popular and beloved games. So, Fortnite definitely has that opportunity as well.
