The range of themed Monopoly games is about to grow even more. Hasbro’s Monopoly is now adding SEGA and Sonic the Hedgehog to its Gamer line.
If you like video games and Monopoly, you’re about to get quite a treat. The range will get a new Sonic the Hedgehog Monopoly game which will feature all the classics.
The Monopoly Gamer: Sonic The Hedgehog edition will feature popular places like Planet Wisp, Rooftop Run and so on. Instead of money, players will earn Rings, Chaos Emeralds and Chao tokens.
Of course, there will be several characters, too. You can play as Sonic, Tails, Amy or Knuckles. There’s even an in-game boss fight where players compete for Chaos Emeralds. Collecting Emeralds is important as you also have to fight Dr. Eggman.
The Sonic Monopoly game joins other gamer editions of the popular board game. Among them are Mario Kart, Mario and Fortnite. The game will cost $24.99 and will hit the stores on September 15th.
