If you like dogs, you will love the new 101 Dalmatian Street animated series. It will debut next year on Disney Channel. Mattel will make the toys for the series, ToyNews reports.
The new animated series will debut globally next year. It will show us the adventures of Dylan and Dolly and their parents Doug and Delilah and 97 younger puppies.
Funnily enough all puppies’ names begin with D in a comedy about family life. That must have been a challenge to think of.
Mattel on the other hand will have the challenge of making toys for and from the new series. The toy range will feature figures, play-sets and accessories. The goal is each range to feature a variety of characters, not only the main ones.
Mattel plans on bringing the toys to the European market in the summer of 2019. “We are thrilled to have been appointed master toy partner for this exciting and innovative series from Disney Channel, which continues to expand our relationship with this important partner. Our new toy line will be extensive and will offer all age groups a unique and fun play experience sure to resonate with young audiences across Europe”, says Andy Gosling, director of marketing for Europe at Mattel.
