Mattel and Nintendo are going to collaborate on yet another project. The popular Mario Kart characters will get their own Hot Wheels cars, ToyNews reports.
But be patient. This will happen by June 2019, so basically you have to wait about a year. The company made the debut at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
Mattel said the new Hot Wheels line will include characters Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy, Wario from Super Mario Land 2 and Toad from Super Mario Bros. The collection fill feature Luigi, Bower, Princess Peach and Mario.
Each model will come in the style of the hit Nintendo Switch title Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The company will even release tracks which mimic the race courses from the game.
This means you will be able to play Mario Kart in the real world! And this also means that the Hot Wheels toys will be small and not of the bigger scale models.
Either way, this is shaping up to be quite fun. Hopefully, we will get to see first pics and samples of the new toys soon.
