Who doesn’t love LEGO, right? Now even sports teams are getting in on the LEGO fun. Reports say Manchester United is going to have LEGO playsets.
According to reports combined by ToyNews, Manchester United has indeed confirmed that will be the case. The hints for the partnership were around for a long time.
This week Manchester United is actually confirming this with a short statement. It doesn’t say much:
“Our partnership with LEGO is a licensing agreement. More information on the partnership and some exciting new products will be released in the new year.”
Sadly, neither the team, nor LEGO says anything more about the deal. But, if we were to try and forecast something, we would expect that the future playsets will feature some miniature versions of Manchester United’s stadium and collectible minifigures of the players.
We would also not be surprised to see some other playsets like a training field or something similar. We will have to wait and see. Sadly, we don’t know exactly how much we will have to wait until the first playsets are out.
