LEGO continues to expand its entertainment properties with a new line. The company will soon offer new DreamWorks Trolls playsets, ToyNews reported.
The new toy line will feature characters and scenes from the upcoming Trolls World Tour movie. There will be several playsets of different sizes.
“We are excited to build upon our successful partnership with Universal by adding the popular Trolls franchise into our collection,” said Jill Wilfert, vice president, licensing and entertainment for the LEGO Group.
“The first film was a colourful celebration of positivity that appealed to a wide audience, and we see a lot of potential in the Trolls’ universe to inspire compelling, creative play experiences.”
For now LEGO is keeping the details of the new collection a secret. The main reason for that is not to spoil the movie which is slated for 2020. So, we will have to wait a bit until LEGO releases more details about its Trolls line.
“We’re thrilled to be expanding our partnership with the LEGO Group to include the Trolls franchise,” said Joe Lawandus, senior vice president and general manager, North America Consumer Products, Universal Brand Development. “Our collaboration with the LEGO Group will bring the Trolls’ vibrant world to life with construction sets that inspire creativity and open up new and exciting play patterns for the brand.”
The company only releases this tease image which shows part of the body of a Trolls minifigure. All we can tell, it’s quite colorful.
