Brace yourselves! LEGO has unveiled even more details about its plans for this year during the Nuremberg International Toy Fair. Let’s see them!
Andy Robertson of Family Gamer TV has posted several videos from the LEGO stand at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair. There are quite a few new details, series and playsets that will be making their ways to the stores this year.
These new playsets build on the already unveiled details from the 2016 London Toy Fair last week. Recently, LEGO also debuted its first set featuring a minifigure of a disabled person.
Now, the company is going big on new series like the Mixels Series 8 and Series 9.
There will also be a new LEGO Angry Birds Movie sets. Yes, you will be able to play Angry Birds with LEGOs!
LEGO also unveiled the new Nexo Knights playset. It will feature a huge castle with many functions and minifigures. It is slated to debut during the second half of this year along with a second set.
For fans of planes, the LEGO City Airport line gets several new sets with planes, jets, VIPs, a cargo plane, a passenger terminal and much more.
The LEGO Technic line wowed with a new huge bucket wheel excavator. The model is huge with lights, lots of details and it is fully functioning! The truck is also included in the set. This will be the largest LEGO Technics model ever released with 3900 parts!
Also, the LEGO Marvel series is coming back with several new smaller sets.
The LEGO Disney Princess is also making a return with several kits. One of them is a castle for the Beauty and the Beast.
Along with that, LEGO and Warner Bros announced they are continuing their partnership with a new set of content for the LEGO Dimensions video game and playsets. “This year is all about capitalising and building on the tremendous success of our LEGO Dimensions launch in 2015,” Spencer Crossley, sales and marketing director at WBIE UK, told ToyNews. There will be several new additions to the line to give you even more options and possibilities.
