The 1:8 LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS is following the footsteps of the Ferrari F40 model LEGO showed off last year. This model though is even more detailed. It is also great to see that the Porsche, with its more rounded shape can also look superb in the blocky world of LEGO.
The playset features 2704 pieces. The Porsche model has functioning doors, opening engine bay, opening front trunk and working suspension. What’s more, you can even make a working gearbox. There are also a lot of smaller details present.
Among them is a detailed dashboard, and engine with moving pistons which closely resembles the flat-six cylinder block the real car uses. There is even a suitcase under the lid of the front trunk! Of course, you can open the globe box, too. There the unique serial number of each model will be housed.
The LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS will cost $300 and it will start a limited sale this June. From August though it will see a wider release. Now, check the impressive model out in the official video below:
