LEGO is expanding into the mobile world with a new service. The company announced the start of a social network app for kids to share their creations.
Social networks can be a dangerous place for kids, especially ones under the age of 13. LEGO wants to help out.
So, the company is launching LEGO Life. It’s a social network for kids and available via a mobile app.
As you can expect, LEGO Life is a social network dedicated to LEGO creations. You can share your latest builds and new additions. You can also chat with friends about all things LEGO, ToyNews reports.
There are even special LEGO emoji icons. As other social networks, you can follow users which are interesting, so you can see their latest posts.
The LEGO Life network will keep all personal information private. Kids will be able to use only custom LEGO minifigures as avatars, but not their own pictures. Also, all posts and images are moderated by LEGO employees.
The new social network app is available to download now on Android and iOS devices. It’s avaiable in the UK, US, Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Denmark. Other countries would follow soon.
