OnBuy says LEGO is the most valuable toy brand in the world. That conclusion comes after the marketplace has used data from Brand Finance.
The results show that LEGO dominates with a worth of almost $7.6 billion in 2018. This is the same amount as in 2017. It’s enough for LEGO to have a very big and comfortable lead in the toy market.
A distant second place is Bandai Namco. Their worth is just over $1 billion. The differences is that the brand scores about a 1% increase compared to 2017.
Fisher-Price is taking the third place. Their worth is $812 million, followed by Barbie at $414 million. Nerf is fifth with 368 million and a big 24% increase.
The biggest increase in the Top 10 most valuable toy brands is for Hasbro. They are currently on 6h place with $272 million, but net a 29% jump from 2017.
The top 10 is rounded out by Hot Wheels, My Little Pony, Mattel and Mobile Suit Gundam.
