Yes, you can now have a Fast & Furious playset from LEGO. The first one is, of course, Dom’s Dodge Charger.
It’s coming in the LEGO Technic line and features a very realistic interpretation of the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T which is Dom’s favorite car. The set is 1077 pieces and recreates the car with a lot of details.
Among them is the V8 engine with the massive air intakes. The engine features moving pistons, too. Also, the car has a double wishbone suspension, a wheelie bar and “nitro bottles”.
“The high-octane action of the Fast & Furious franchise has captured the hearts and imaginations of petrol-heads the world over. We want to inspire people of all ages to explore their creativity through building whatever their passion is, and we know fans of LEGO Technic and the blockbuster franchise love cool cars and adrenaline-fuelled fun. Brought together by that same passion, we worked really closely with the Universal team to bring Dom’s Dodge Charger to life in the most minute detail to inspire Fast & Furious fans and LEGO Technic builders around the world”, says Samuel Tacchi, designer of LEGO Technic Dom’s Dodge Charger in a release.
Overall, the finished model is in 1:13 scale and is for ages 10 and up. The latest set comes out globally on April 27, 2020. It’s already up for pre-order on LEGO’s site.
