LEGO celebrates Shakespeare's 400th birthday with a fun videoLEGO has decided to celebrate Shakespeare’s 400th birthday with a special funny video. The company has recreated some of his most famous scenes.

LEGO has gone back to their video mastery and have created a fun video combining animation and real blocks to show off some of the most famous scenes from Shakespeare’s plays.

In the video you can see the Minifigures paying tribute to Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth and even A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Of course, this being LEGO, it has looked at the scenes in its own unique and funny way. Romeo for example is too focused on his smartphone.

Meanwhile LEGO is continuing to enjoy a great year. The company is poised to become the top toy brand in China. LEGO CEO Jorgen Vig Knudstrop has detailed his plan to increase his firm’s operations in China including the opening of the world’s largest LEGO store in Shanghai and the opening of its first Chinese factory in 2017, ToyNews reports.

To grow sales in China and Japan, LEGO has added more Asian characters and sceneries including a Ninjago range. There will also be many more updates to existing lines and new themed playsets, too. LEGO is even contemplating the use of virtual reality games to appeal more to the Chinese fans.
