The new Ghostbusters movie is approaching and LEGO is already ready for it. The company just announced new Ghostbusters LEGO playsets.
LEGO took to Twitter to announce that it is not afraid of Ghosts thanks to the new Ghostbusters playsets. Currently there will be two new sets which should be in the stores this summer.
They will feature the Ecto-1 car and the Ecto-2 motorbike. The Ecto-1 will come complete with all of the main characters as LEGO minifigures. There will be a villain who is not known to be in the movie, but maybe it is, maybe it isn’t? We ill have to wait and see.
The set also features the full equipment for catching ghosts. The Ecto-1 car is also very realistic and features opening trunk, doors and many more. The expected release date of the set is July 1st, two weeks before the actual movie. The price is said to be $60.
The new LEGO Ghostbusters sets should be just the start of many new additions to the line. That depends mainly on the performance of the actual movie. If the fans like it, then there will be much more toys and possibly even more Ghostbuster movies. Until then though, we will have to make do with these.
