Over the weekend, Lake Ontario Park was the host of its 21st annual Teddy Bear Picnic. It was attended by thousands of stuffed animals and their owners.

The organizers had set up dozens of different activities for all stuffed animals and their owners. There were several rides, even a teddy bear clinic. All stuffed animals were welcome and a lot of them turned up.

Participants were playing dress up with their stuffed animals, the clinic helped out several injured stuffies and fixed them up. The Teddy Bear Picnic event had over 30 activities set up around the Lake Ontario Park.

Last year a total of 3500 people attended the event. This year the event was even more successful. The organizers say that about two hours into he event, there were more than five thousand people in attendance. Most of them were carrying at least one stuffed animal or teddy bear, some bringing much more than that.
