Toy Story 4 has a lot of hype surrounding it. Even so, Pixar manages to find ways to build it up even more. For example, with new big names in the cast.
One of them is non other than Keanu Reeves. Tim Allen revealed on Jimmy Fallon’s show that Reeves has a role in the movie, Gamespot reported.
According to Allen, who plays Buzz Lightyear, Keanu has a mystery role of some sort. He only says that Reeves’ character “has an edge” and is a really tiny toy. Sadly, it seems Reeves doesn’t play a stuffed animal.
Allen says we will have to watch the movie to find out more about Keanu’s role. So far, Disney or Pixar haven’t commented on that news.
Other than that Allen didn’t reveal anything new we don’t already know about. He confirmed his colleagues’ previous statements that the plot is very “deep and moving”. He also said he got emotional at the end, just like Tom Hanks said previously.
This builds up even more expectations for the movie. Coupled with the fact that it was supposed to debut in the cinemas in 2017, but got postponed, makes the challenges even bigger. It will all be answered on June 21, 2019 when Toy Story 4 finally reaches the cinemas.
