It’s the peak of the teddy bear toss season and hockey teams everywhere are holding their games. One of them is the Indy Fuel who had a big event.
They played against Tulsa Oilers and won 5-4. More than 5300 fans came to the game and the teddy bear toss event.
Fans were well prepared with several stuffed animals. After the Indy Fuel scored their first goal of the game, teddy bears and stuffed animals started flying towards the ice.
While the team hasn’t announced an official count just yet, officials have told the IndyStar that more than 10 900 stuffed animals were collected for this year’s event.

So, one more teddy bear toss event goes in the books. A few thousands more stuffed animals will find new homes and bring smiles to kids in need. Overall a nice way to spend a weekend.
