Hasbro announced a special way to mark Autism Awareness Month. The company is releasing a special mini plush version of Sesame Street’s Julia for the US and Canada, ToyNews reports.
Julia is a relatively new character for Sesame Street. She was introduced in April 2017 and is the first Sesame Street Muppet with autism.
Julia quickly became a fan-favorite. Now fans will have the opportunity to interact with her even more.
“Children and families everywhere have embraced Julia, the first Sesame Street Muppet with autism, since her onscreen debut in April 2017,” read a statement from the Hasbro team.
“Now for the first time, little ones in the US and Canada can engage with this sweet character both onscreen and in the playroom with the new Julia plush character from Hasbro.”
Julia will join the Sesame Street Mini Plush line. Her mini plush will retail for $7.99 and it’s aimed ad kids from ages 12 and above. Her plush is also a must for Sesame Street collectors.
