Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures is the latest member of the ever so massive franchise. Now it also has its own line of action figures, thanks to Hasbro.
The new action figures are smaller – 3.75 inches tall. They come in small can-like containers.
Each figure is drawn on the can, so there’s no surprise involved. Instead, each figure comes with its own mini comic and a QR code. This QR code leads to a special page where you can learn more about the character.
The line starts with 4 action figures – Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca and R2-D2. They look quite well and are modeled after their appearances in Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures.
This is going to be a series of animated short movies. They will show interesting moments and themes from the Star Wars saga. The idea is to be a bridge for the younger and newer fans who get to know the classic movies.
The first six short movies already debuted on the Star Wars Kids YouTube channel and site. There will be more coming this month and then a weekly series in 2019.
As for the toys, they are also just starting. The first figures of the new lineup should make their ways to the stores in the US this month.
