My Little Pony has had quite the run. It enjoys a lot of popularity, but according to Hasbro, we haven’t seen the best of it yet. It’s coming in 2017.
Now the hit TV series is back! And it will return with two shows! One of them is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The other one is My Little Pony: Equestria Girls.
Both shows will return in 2017. The first one will air on Discovery Family Cannel starting from the spring. The second one will have three TV specials during the second half of the year.
The second show is scheduled to follow the debut of the TV movie Legends of Everfree. All of this should drive excitement for the animated feature film My LIttle Pony: The Movie. It will premiere worldwide on October 6th, 2017.

“2017 will be the biggest year in the history of the My Little Pony franchise, including new and exciting stories that will air across television, various digital platforms and movie screens,” said Stephen Davis, EVP and chief content officer at Hasbro to ToyNews.
“The characters and humor of the My Little Pony brand appeals to audiences of all ages and demographics. We think Pony fans are going to love what’s in store in the coming year.”
Of course all of this won’t go by without many new toys. While Hasbro isn’t saying anything specific, we expect a whole lot of new stuffed animals and other toys. All of them should also drive My Little Pony to its best year ever. At least that’s what Hasbro is aiming for.
