Hasbro announced it has listened to fans feedback and it’s extending the funding deadline for the huge Transformers Unicorn action figure. Originally it had to end in August 2019.
“We’ve been reading your comments and listening to your feedback about wanting more time, and we’re excited to share that we are officially extending the campaign date,” said Hasbro in a press release.
“We wouldn’t be where we are in the campaign without our fans and we are so appreciative of the overwhelming support on the project thus far. We want to make this dream item a reality just as much as you and feel that this extension will help get us to the 8,000 backer goal!”
The toy costs $574.99 a pop. Currently about 5500 people have pledged for the campaign. That’s a bit far from the goal of 8000 backers.
To inspire more fans, Hasbro also said the action figure will get more features. Among them are an interchangeable chin, a mini-Galvatron and more. Of course, the figure will be able to fully transform. And it’s huge. $575 is quite steep, but if you are a big fan of Transformers this might just be the item to crown and complete your collection. It is very impressive.
