Funko is adding more characters to its constantly expanding line of POP vinyl figures. The latest additions are coming from the iconic Mortal Kombat games.
Funko adds four characters to the line coming from the game. At least initially. You could probably expect more characters if the initial line is popular enough.
The first wave features Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Raiden. Each figure is representing the character in its unique pose.
Liu is in his fight stance, while the rest show of their poses during their signature moves. Gamestop will also have a special version of Raiden with extended lighting bolts.
Mortal Kombat has been around since 1992. The game has a massive following and it’s currently in it’s 11th edition. It’s also going to be among the first ones on Google’s Stadia gaming streaming service this fall. So, the Funko figures come just at the right time where you can expect even more interest towards the game and its characters.
