Fisher-Price announced a new partnership with Save the Children which will bring some smiles to children in need. The partnership kicks-off tomorrow.
Fisher-Price will donate to the children’s charity 1 British pound from the sale of each toy from the range Laugh & Learn. It features 16 different toys and stuffed animals.
The partnership kicks-off from November 2nd and will last until December 24th 2016. The toys will be sold exclusively at Argos UK. Save the Children is a charity initiative in the UK and helps children in need.
The initiative aims to give every child in the UK a chance to play and learn. “We are delighted to be partnering with Save the Children to help make a difference to the lives of children in need at this time of year,” said Wendy Hill, brand activation director at Mattel UK to ToyNews.
“A staggering 3.9 million children are growing up in poverty in this country. Their childhood is not so much a chance to play and learn as a struggle just to get by”, Tom Rahilly, director of UK programmes at Save the Children“ says. “This is why our campaign with Fisher-Price is so important to help give the UK’s poorest children the chance to play and learn and ultimately reach their full potential.”
