The Feisty Pets stuffed animals are planning to take over the world. They now have a new global licensing partner and will expand with more cool stuff.
Feisty Pets debuted last year. They are cute looking stuffed animals at first glance. But if you give them a tighter squeeze, they won’t like it and will get a bit angry.
That’s why they are Feisty Pets. And they proved to be quite popular. They were even Amazon’s best selling plush toy for Christmas 2016. They were also Amazon’s best selling plush toy for Cyber Monday 2016. Both times they overtook the overall hit last year – the Hatchimals.
Now Feisty Pets are coming back with more backup. They have signed with Surge Licensing for the global licensing rights of the plush toys. “The way Feisty Pets have been received on social media, especially YouTube and Instagram, is nothing short of phenomenal,” said Matt Forti, creator of Feisty Pets to ToyNews. “The user-generated content is already through the roof, showing that our fans are truly engaging with our brand.”
The William Mark Corporation will develop new licensing and entertainment initiatives for Feisty Pets. “WMC created a completely novel and fun play experience through physical product with unique emotional features that lend themselves to digital content creation that span social media platforms that are driving fan engagement. The Feisty Pets success is truly remarkable and Surge looks forward to building out an exciting licensing and entertainment campaign in the coming months.”
Rubie’s will develop a special Feisty Pets Halloween costume line. It should be out in time for this year’s Halloween, too. And you can also expect more content with Feisty Pets, new accessories and soon – new plush toys to join the gang. So, if you’re a fan of the feisty little stuffies, soon you will have a lot more to do with them.
