Musician Ed Sheeran revealed he has an extensive collection of teddy bears. They are so many, they fill an entire room in his house.
Sheeran, who is 25, was a guest on Graham Norton’s show. There he said he still feels like a big kid and likes to treat himself with the toys he didn’t have when he was growing up.
“When my album went to number one I bought the Death Star Lego kit. It was time! When my goddaughter wanted a Ninja Turtle I got her one and bought myself the Ninja Turtle Truck!”, he said.
“I have a load of kid’s stuff: a room full of teddy bears and two giant pandas in my bedroom”, Sheeran added. But that’s not all. He really, really loves teddy bears. So much in fact, he even has a tattoo of a teddy bear on his right bicep. He got it because his nickname in school was Teddy.
Sadly, he hasn’t shared pictures of his collection of teddy bears. And don’t expect he ever will. Sheeran says he doesn’t let anyone interfere with his game time.
His other passion is LEGO. He even made a song called LEGO House. And he likes LEGO so much, he even brought a LEGO set with him on a date. “I once went on a date, brought a Lego set with me and while we were chatting I made the set and then left,” he said. Talk about a test about being “the one”.
He adds that he’s now ready for a family and kids. Would he let them play with his toy and stuffed animal collection? Probably. He would be an awesome dad, that’s for sure.
