The Museum of Life and Science in Durham, N.C. will host a special Teddy Bear Clinic event this weekend. Kids can bring their plushies for a check-up.
The official name of the event is Duke Children’s Teddy Bear Hospital. The event will be from 2PM to 5PM on November 17th.
Kids can bring their favorite stuffed animal to a body check up. The Teddy Bear Hospital will also teach kids about fitness, healthy habits and more.
Kids will be able to help doctors with the check-up of their plushies. There will also be prizes raffled every 30 minutes.
There’s also a special entertainment program. The Durham Bulls mascot, Wool E. Bull, will appear from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Also taking part are the Duke Life Flight ambulance, and players from the Duke women’s lacrosse and tennis teams.
The activities are included with admission, which is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and U.S. military, and $15 for kids ages 3 to 12. It’s free for kids ages 2 and under, WRAL reports. The museum’s website has more information.
