Disney has an interesting strategy to show off some of the new toys for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The company has a YouTube series starring the toys.
So, if you are eager to find out what some of the new Star Wars toys will be, you better take a look at the movie. It will give you a nice glimpse of what’s to come.
The YouTube videos are separated into four parts. This is the second one. It uses stop motion and a little animation to show off the toys.
In this second episode you will see toys from Hasbro, LEGO, Funko. Jakks Pacific, Mattel and the Disney Store also take part with their toys.
The video shows the toys trying to find the instructions to build the LEGO Star Wars Death Star. Needless to say, it’s a fun adventure. And it shows why fans can’t wait for the real Rogue One Star Wars spin-off. It has the potential to create a whole new franchise of Star Wars goodness. Will it though? We think so.
