Get ready for a party! Disney has revealed more plans about its Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land theme parks along with several more details and expansions.

Disney used its D23 Expo to reveal many details about its future plans. A couple of days ago we found out more about some of the movies the company is already working on. Now Disney is shinning some light on its plans for the expansion of its theme parks along with special focus on Star Wars and Toy Story.

The presence of Star Wars in the Disney theme parks is about to get really big, ComingSoon reports. The parks will be getting their own Star Wars Land sections which will be so big you could call them theme parks on their own.

It will start with Star Wars Launch Bay which will be opening later this year. It will be featured in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida and Disneyland park in California. It will be an interactive experience showing a trip through all Star Wars movies including the latest one Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Then it will be Star Tours – The Adventures Continue. It is also opening this year at both parks and will take visitors on an adventure including interacting with several locations and characters from the upcoming Star Wars movie.

There will also be Season of the Force which will be a big seasonal event beginning from early 2016. It will bring different experiences to both parks. In Tomorrowland at Disneyland park, guests will explore the Star Wars galaxy with special entertainment, themed food locations and Hyperspace Mountain which is a reimagining of the classic Space Mountain attraction in which guests will join an X-wing Starfighter battle. Disney’s Hollywood Studios will feature a new fireworks spectacular set to the iconic score of the Star Wars movies on weekend nights.

Toy Story Time

Toy Story will also get a big featuring in Disney parks. The Toy Story Land will feature a family-friendly roller coaster taking visitors through a new world of toys and adventures on the back of Slinky Dog.

Then the famous little green aliens from the movie will also be on the sight. They will offer visitors to come and check out their flying saucers and even go for a spin in one of them.

Toy Story Mania! will be an upgraded world featuring a track to the already popular attraction which shows the Toy Story Midway Games Play Set.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be getting additional rides, too. Among them will be AVATAR Flight of Passage which is the centerpiece of Pandora: The World of AVATAR. You will be able to experience the most thrilling scenes from the movie.

Rivers of Light will open next spring and be an entirely new show made with music, floating lanterns, water screens and animal imagery.

Tokyo Disney will also be expanded. It will include Alice in Wonderland. The Hong Kong Disney will get an Iron Man Experience while Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure and Tron Lightcycle Power Run at Disney Shanghai, and Soarin’ around the World will be added for both the Orlando and Anaheim parks.
