Toys are an important companion for kids during the coronavirus outbreak and they help kids feel better and happier. Toy companies also have a big role.
As wearing protective face masks is now mandatory or at the least highly recommended in many countries, this can be stressful to kids. Toy companies can be of big help here, too.
Cubcoats for example is introducing kid-friendly face masks, The ToyBook reports. They are coming with the designs of some of the company’s most popular plush characters.
Among them are Kali the Kitty, Uki the Unicorn, Papo the Panda and Pimm the Puppy. The masks feature two layers of non-medical, high-quality cotton with a removable PM2.5 carbon filter. There’s also a shapeable metal nose-piece to ensure a secure fit. Finally, the masks are safe to machine wash and dry for reuse.
The masks are 6.6 inches wide and 4.7 inches tall. They are an ideal size for kids as regular face masks for adults can be too big for kids.
Shipping starts on May 8th, 2020. Cubcoats will sell the masks on its site in a two-pack form for $12.99 for the pack. The company will also donate 10% of the sales to support the outbreak relief efforts.
