This year has been particularly active in the toys department. There were so many new toys that the new Dream Toys list 2015 is simply huge. Check it out.
But first a few words about the Dream Toys List 2015 for those of you who are not familiar with it. The list is made by a panel of UK toy retailers with the likes of Argos, Boots, Smyths, Toys R Us, the Toy Retailers Association and so on. It is an annual event which covers the most interesting toys from the given year.
“The 2015 Dream Toys line up has such a great variety of toys ranging from entertainment heavyweights like Star Wars and Thunderbirds through to highly creative and charming toys for tots like the Toot-Toot Friends Busy sounds Discovery Home,” said to ToyNews Gary Grant, chair of the Dream Toys committee. The list is covering toys that are innovative, diverse and bring great play value.
All of this means that, despite warnings that toys are getting the back seat to smartphones and electronics, they are still pretty much in top form. According to Frederique Tutt, toys global industry analyst for the NPD Group, ‘toy sales have been buoyant since the beginning of the year, with nine out of 11 traditional toy categories experiencing growth.’
With Star Wars toys being at an all time high, this has all the grounds for a great Christmas sales season, the experts are saying. So what entries does the Dream Toys 2015 list features? Here they are and keep in mind that there is a special category for stuffed animals:
