The popular brand Bush Baby World and its toys will finally come to the US and Canada. The brand will have a different name though – Fur Babies World.
Moose Toys won the master toy distributor license for Bush Baby World in the USA and Canada, ToyNews reported. The brand will use the name Fur Babies World though which will take some getting used to for local fans.
Other than that everything else will be identical. The characters are the same and the toys. There might be new stories, too.
The Fur Babies World toys will reach the US and Canada stores during Spring 2018. “We have been blown away by the interest in Bush Baby World internationally and are delighted to have a partner such as Moose in the US and Canada,” explained Barry Hughes of Golden Bear. “We have been very impressed by their team and look forward to Fur Babies World hitting the North American shelves in early 2018.”
The brand also expects a lot more licensing deals after the successful showcase at BLE. “This line is flying off the shelves in the UK,” added Moose Toys co-CEO Paul Solomon. “Kids in the US will be drawn to these cute, quirky characters and we can’t wait to share them with our fans in 2018. With brands like Shopkins and Little Live Pets, the team at Moose have shown that we know how to drive a hit toy line and we are sure that the introduction of Fur Babies World will be no different!”
