This time it’s bringing the promo to Australia. The company says there’s big interest in the event in the country and fans want it.
“Pay Your Age Day proved incredibly popular with kids and adults who love teddy bears. It gained 2.9 billion social media impressions and attracted media attention globally”, the company says in a statement.
“Based on that success and lessons learnt, Build-A-Bear Workshop Australia—the largest Build-A-Bear Workshop franchisee—is the first franchisee globally to launch its own version of the deal with important updates to help ensure the best possible experience for as many guests as possible.”
The event is going to be on 15 November 2018. It’s only for Build-A-Bear stores in Australia. We will see how this one will turn out. The original had a few issues, which caused the company to stop it and then run another promotion later on as an apology. Still, it did bring a lot of attention to the brand, that’s for sure.
