Build-A-Bear celebrates its new shop design in Trumbull with free teddy bearsBuild-A-Bear is starting a new chapter with completely remodeled stores. One of them will debut in Trumbull on May 31st with special gifts.

The Build-A-Bear Workshop at Westfield Trumbull will reopen this Wednesday on May 31st. To celebrate the occasion, Build-A-Bear is offering free Lil’ Hazelnut Cub teddy bears to the first 20 guests.

So, yes, you would have to be quick if you want a free teddy bear. Also, the store will donate another 20 bears to the local Boys & Girls Club.

Guests will be able to check out the entire store. It features a new, blue front with a bear silhouette outlined and several of the most popular bears on the window.

There are also almost all of the other Build-A-Bear toys and accessories, too. The stuffing machine which fills your newly build bear is now at the prominent central place in the store.

On the whole, the entire layout of the store is a bit different, too. The aim is to make creating and personalizing your new teddy bear even more fun and easy. The colors are also updated, as is the Build-A-Bear Workshop logo.

Store hours are from Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Build-A-Bear Workshop at Westfield Trumbull is at 5065 Main St.
