The 32nd Annual Teddy Bear Picnic in Winnipeg gathered almost 40 000 people at the event. Sadly, some of them left without their teddy bears and stuffed animals. Now these plushies need help finding their homes.
These things can happen, especially during such crowded events. You put your plush friend down to grab a bite and before you know it, you are separated.
Then it’s very difficult to find them again in the crowd. Especially in Assiniboine Park which is quite big. Happily, the organizers of the event did a very thorough check and clean-up after the Teddy Bear Picnic.
So, they found and picked up about a dozen of stuffed animals and dolls that were left behind.
“They miss their people,” according to a news release from the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.“Please help us reunite them.”
Anyone looking to claim their bear can call 204-787-4400. They are the ones in the picture above. You can also check out how the event went right here.
The planning for next years’ Teddy Bear Picnic is already underway. The event is once again going to be in the last Sunday of May 2019. So, if you want to go, you can already start planning your trip.
